About

Our Story

The first time my husband Mike introduced me to The Good Cup, I immediately felt at home.  I ordered my favorite drink, a soy chai latte, and we found our way to a comfy corner.  We talked  about our dream of one day owning a coffee shop that was unique and one-of-a-kind.  We envisioned a gathering place where we could embrace the community around us and a place our children could grow up.

History

The Good Cup opened in 2003 by Anne Sale, a local entrepreneur with a New Orleans influence.  She shaped the shop into what it is now, a supporter of the community & environment. Later, Anne brought me on board as a barista and as for myself I was hoping to gain more experience in the coffee industry.  Instantly I fell in love with the character of the place.  On January 1st, 2009 Anne passed the torch onto my husband and I to continue The Good Cup.  We are both thankful and grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and friends.  We are eager to continue the mission of keeping our city awake!
